MARCO POLO MASTERS WATER POLO

Marco Polo Code of Coduct
Marco Polo committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and
respectful environment for all players and referees. Most issues can be resolved with a conversation and good humor. But to protect that spirit, we will take action when needed. Let’s keep the water welcoming.
The Lines We Don’t Cross
-
No unsafe or overly aggressive play.
-
Physicality is part of polo—but not at the expense of safety. Don’t throw elbows or get rough beyond what’s welcome.
-
-
No bullying, belittling, or hostile behavior.
-
We’re all here to enjoy ourselves. Don’t shout, scold, guilt-trip, or corner others.
-
-
No arguing with the ref.
-
The call is the call. Let’s keep things moving and avoid dragging the vibe down.
-
-
No unsolicited criticism delivered harshly.
-
If someone’s not asking, don’t coach. If they are, be constructive, not condescending.
-
-
No ignoring people’s comfort levels.
-
If someone asks for less contact or a different pace, respect it. Adapt and keep the game inclusive.
-
-
No blowups or sideline sniping.
-
Heated moments happen. Don’t stew or snap. Let it go, regroup, and rejoin the team spirit.
-
